Skye Terrier International Association Re-homing and Rescue

Get in touch and we will do our very best to help

At the STIA, we are committed to the Skye Terrier breed and want them above all to have the best lives that they can possibly have.

Sometimes situations arise where a Skye Terrier requires to be re-homed. This could be for various reasons for example moving house to a property that does not allow pets, unfortunately a bereavement where the dog cannot be homed within the family or for various other reasons.

Our aim would be to help, where possible, to find the dog a new home, or to put people who are looking for an older Skye in touch with someone who has one to re-home. Hopefully helping out both and mainly the Skye.

To avoid a dog going into kennels or a rescue kennels we may, where possible, help to transport the dog to its new home.

If you have a Skye Terrier and need to find him/her a new home, then please do get in touch and we will do our very best to help. Likewise if you are prepared to rehome a Skye, please let us know so we can have a database according to world region.

Preferably contact the Secretary, however feel free to contact any of the committee members closer to you.
